Comments:
A monitoring inspection was completed from 10:45am until 11:45. There were 8 children present with 3 staff supervising. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, supervision, programming, medication, special care and emergencies and nutrition. A total of 4 child records were reviewed.
Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program.
Based on observation, the playground equipment did not meet the resilient surfacing requirement. Evidence: 1. There is a climbing wall on the playground that has a wooden base that does not have have resilent surfacing material covering it.
Plan of Correction:
Resilient surfacing will be placed over the base of the equipment.
