Comments:
This inspection was conducted by licensing staff using an alternate remote protocol, necessary due to a state of emergency health pandemic declared by the Governor of Virginia. A monitoring inspection was initiated on9/11 and concluded on 9/18. The administrator was contacted by telephone to initiate the inspection. There were 37 children present and 18 staff. The inspector emailed the Administrator a list of items required to complete the inspection. The Inspector reviewed 4 children?s records and 3 staff records virtually during the inspection to ensure documentation was complete. Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the facility. . Based on the review of 4 children's files the center failed to have some of the required information to make the child's file complete. Evidence: The center failed to get the addresses for the two emergency contacts for child B.
Plan of Correction:
The child's grandmother, who was the emergency contact was working at the center until this year. We will make sure we get the addresses for the emergency contacts
