A Subsidy Health and Safety inspection was initiated on 08/23/2022 and concluded on 08/24/2022 to review supplemental health and safety requirements. There were 84 children present with 18 staff supervising.
A licensing inspection was conducted on the same date as the SHSI supplemental inspection; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection.
Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program.
Based on record review and interview, the vendor did not ensure 1 staff had current certification in cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) appropriate to the ages of children in care.
Evidence: 1. The record of staff #8 (date of employment: 7/31/2018) contained a CPR certification that expired in July of 2022. 2. Administration acknowledged that the certification was not current.
