A Subsidy Health and Safety inspection was conducted on 03/11/2020 to review supplemental health and safety requirements. An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted today from approximately 11am-2pm. There were 90 children in the direct care and supervision of 14 staff. A sample of 9 children?s files and 47 staff records were reviewed. The children were observed eating lunch and napping. Two new staff have been hired since the last inspection. Areas of non-compliance are identified in this report. The exit interview was conducted with the administrative teacher. If you have any questions, contact Kimberly.Sawyer@dss.virginia.gov. A licensing inspection was also conducted this date; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. Violations were found during the supplemental subsidy health and safety inspection requirements and are identified on the violation notice.
