An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted today from 10:20am-12:35pm. There were 49 children directly supervised by 10 staff and all classrooms were in ratio. The physical plant, playground areas, programming, menu, 4 staff records, 5 children?s records, 5 medications, evacuation drills, injury reports, emergency supplies, and policies were inspected. Infant care and feeding was observed. The toddler children were outside doing water play, the preschool children were making fruit kabobs, and the JK and Prep classrooms were outside in the playground area doing water play and playing basketball. The school age children were off site on a field trip. Positive interactions between children and staff were observed during this inspection. There was an abundant supply of age appropriate materials for the children and the center was clean and organized. No violations were found during this inspection.
