A Subsidy Health and Safety inspection was conducted on 11/12/19 from 11:30am until 1:00pm to review supplemental health and safety requirements. At the time of entrance, there were 24 children in care with 3 staff and 1 administrator. A sample of 5 children's records and 5 staff records were reviewed. Children were observed resting quietly during nap time and participating in learning activities. First aid and emergency supplies, the emergency preparedness plan, documentation of emergency practice drills and children's injury reports were reviewed. The owner stated there are currently no children enrolled who are prescribed medication. A licensing inspection was conducted on the same date as the SHSI supplemental inspection; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. No violations of the supplemental subsidy health and safety requirements were found.
