Renewal paperwork was reviewed.
Comments:
An unannounced renewal inspection was conducted 10/03/2022. There were 35 children present with 8 staff supervising. Classroom, emergency plans, children's records and staff records were reviewed. Children were observed singing songs and playing with table toys. Areas of non compliance were cited on the violation notice. Based on a review of staff documentation, the center failed to ensure all staff have required background CPS check within 30 days of employment.
Evidence: Staff #1 - Staff #5's records did not have documentation of a completed Central Registry Background check.
Plan of Correction:
Director will submit all background check forms to the appropriate office. Director will contact Licensing Inspector when forms are returned.
