This inspection was conducted by licensing staff using an alternate remote protocol, necessary due to a state of emergency health pandemic declared by the Governor of Virginia.
A monitoring inspection was initiated on June 25, 2020 and concluded on June 25, 2020. The director was contacted by telephone to initiate the inspection at 11:20 a.m. A video inspection was conducted beginning at 11:45 a.m. There were 24 children present and 4 staff. An infant was observed being held. Children were observed during lunch. Lunch today was cheese pizza, green beans, pears and milk. The school age class was observed during their outside picnic. The inspector emailed the director a list of items required to complete the inspection. The Inspector reviewed four children?s records and four staff records submitted by the facility to ensure documentation was complete. Emergency drills were up to date and the monthly menu was reviewed.
The information gathered during the inspection determined no violations with applicable standards or law. No violations were issued.
The Licensing Inspector has reviewed with the provider COVID-19 Essential Guidance for Child Care programs.
