Discussed with the center director cots and classroom equipment during naptime.
Comments:
An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted today from 12:20pm-2:15pm. There were 72 children (2-5yrs.) directly supervised by 17 staff. The physical plant, 5 staff records, 5 children?s records, medications, evacuation drills, emergency supplies, and policies were inspected. Children were observed transitioning from the cafeteria to their classrooms and napping. There was an adequate supply of materials for the children. The center was clean and organized. Areas of non-compliance are identified on the Violation Notice. Based on record review, the center did not obtain documentation of a negative tuberculosis(TB) screening/testing for a staff member at the time of employment and prior to coming into contact with children.
