An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted today between approximately 11:30am and 1:05pm. 56 children were directly supervised by 8 staff members. Ratios were in compliance. The physical space, 5 children's records, 3 staff records, evacuation drills, attendance, the menu and required posted documents were reviewed. The one medication on site was also reviewed. Children were observed eating lunch (meatloaf, sweet potatoes, bread/butter, fresh plums/strawberries and milk), preparing for nap and interacting with staff. Interactions were positive. The space was well organized. Classrooms contained age appropriate materials/activities and walls were decorated with children's art. No violations were cited today.
