Technical Assistance:

Please ensure that single use glove supply is routinely replenished, and the cleaning supply closet is locked at all times. Discussed Standard 160.A regarding First Aid Training and shared the updated model form for the annual physical.

Comments:

An unannounced renewal inspection was conducted on 4/20/2023. At the time of entrance, there were approximately 150 participants in care. Staff ratio was in compliance. Five participant records, three staff records and other documentation were reviewed. Reviewed background checks for staff hired after previous inspection conducted on 2/15/2022. No medications were administered during the inspection. Activities included exercise, arts & crafts, traditional games and breakfast. Interviews were not conducted as the participants? first language is not English and no interpreters were provided. No violations were cited today. Exit interview held. The evidence gathered during the inspection determined no violations with applicable standard(s) or law. The inspection summary will be posted to the VDSS website within five (5) business days of your receipt of the inspection summary.
