Activities -suggestion offered on activities for individuals in care. Licensing staff will offer resources to assist in enhancing activities offered and provided.

Comments:

A on-site complaint inspection was conducted at the facility on 3/11/2011. A complaint was received by the department regarding allegations in the area of Resident Care and Related Services. Licensing staff reviewed the resident file (medication records, physician orders, hospice notes) and interviewed staff and inspected the activity schedule. The evidence gathered during the investigation did not support non-compliance with standards or law.

Description:	Based on a review of physician orders and interviews with staff, the facility did not obtain and maintain in the file of a resident documentation of orders for medical care/procedures implemented. Evidence: The facility's management reported that resident # 1 is being placed in bed in the afternoon for fall risk prevention and the development of bedsores/pressure sores. The facility failed to secure an order from the physician prior to implementing this medical care plan/procedure.
