Comments:
This inspection was conducted by licensing staff using an alternative remote protocol necessary due to a state of emergency health pandemic declared by the Governor of Virginia.
A renewal inspection was initiated on 7/24/2020 and concluded on 7/28/2020. The administrator was contacted by email to initiate the inspection. The administrator reported that the census was 18. The inspector emailed the administrator a list of items required to complete the inspection. The number of records to be reviewed was based on the census provided. The inspector reviewed two staff records training and related, two resident records plus medication records from two additional residents, fire inspection, fire drills, menus, activities, pharmacy review, and health care oversight. The health inspection was not available but a letter was provided from the health department that their inspections are on hold due to the pandemic. The facility was issued a license to continue providing meals until the inspection could be completed. This information was submitted by the facility to ensure documentation was complete.
Information gathered during this renewal inspection determined no violations with applicable standards or law. No violations were issued.
