Technical Assistance:

To ensure that the facility had a thorough understanding of standards, the LI had a discussion with the Licensee, the Administrator, and the designated direct care staff in charge regarding the facility's fire inspection and standards 50- A & B, 100-C.e, 390-A.1, 390-A.4, 580-E and 700.6.

Comments:

An announced mandated inspection was initiated on 11/18/2021 and concluded on 11/18/2021 by one licensing inspector (LI) from 9:20AM until 11:48AM. The designated direct care staff in charge reported that the current census was 43. The LI observed the facility's physical plant to include the interior and exterior of the building, the facility's emergency food and water supply, required postings that included resident rights, current designated person in charge, oxygen in use signs, signaling device, activities schedule, current menu, the facility's first aid kit, doors, windows, observed that the facility's storage closet with cleaning supplies was locked and observed a sample of residents' rooms. Information and observations gathered during the inspection determined no violations with applicable standards or laws.
