Comments:

An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted on April 19, 2022, from 3:20 p.m. to 4:34 p.m. for First Choice South Brunswick Assisted Living Facility. At the time of entrance, the facility?s infection control monitoring policy was actively implemented for all visitors, staff members, and residents. The facility administration team reported the census as seven (7) residents in care. The record sample size consisted of two (2) resident records and two (2) new staff records, as well as other documents reviewed such as menus, staff schedules, staff certifications, training records, activities schedules, health inspections, and fire inspections. The licensing inspector and the designated staff member toured the building to observe the facility?s commons areas, bathrooms, and bedrooms.
