Technical Assistance:

Based on documentation reviewed sent by the facility, the water temperature is set at 115 degrees Fahrenheit. Please ensure that residents are aware of issues that may cause an increase or decrease in water temperature such as laundry, taking long showers, or other residents using bathing facilities at the same time. Residents should be made aware before showering to prevent issues with the water temperature.

Comments:

This inspection was conducted by licensing staff using an alternate remote protocol, necessary due to a state of emergency health pandemic declared by the Governor of Virginia. A complaint inspection was initiated on 12/21/2020 and concluded on 01/04/2020. A complaint was received by the department regarding allegations in the areas of the Physical Plant. The administrator was contacted by telephone to conduct the investigation. The licensing inspector gave the administrator a list of documentation required to complete the investigation. The evidence gathered during the investigation did not support the allegations of non-compliance with standards or law. Technical Assistance was provided.
