An unannounced monitoring inspection was completed on 09/11/2024, as a part of licensure period) The on-site inspection began at 1:00pm and ended at 3:00pm. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas listed above. The inspector reviewed 4 children?s records and 5 staff records. This inspection included a document review, tour of facility, interviews and observations. Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law, and violations are documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Standard #: 8VAC20-780-260-A Description: An annual fire inspection is required from the appropriate fire official having jurisdiction.
The fire inspection provided by the director was dated 04/18/2023.Plan of Correction: The director will contact the fire marshal and request an inspection.
Standard #: 8VAC20-780-270-A Description: Areas and equipment of the center are required to be maintained in a safe condition.
In the infant room there was peeling paint on the bottom of the door exiting the room.Plan of Correction: A work order will be placed to have the peeling paint removed from the infant door.
Standard #: 8VAC20-780-440-B Description: Cribs shall be identified for use by a specific child.
An infant was observed in a crib that was not identified for use specific use by a child.Plan of Correction: The director will ensure infant staff are ensuring cribs are identified for specific use by a child.
