An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted today from approximately 10:00 am -11:00 am. There were 10 children directly supervised by 3 staff and coop parent volunteers. The physical plant, 5 staff records, 5 children?s records, 5 parent volunteer records, medications, evacuation drills, injury reports, emergency supplies, and policies were inspected. Children were observed participating in group play to include: building with blocks, creating art projects and cooperatively cleaning up. Adult caregivers were observed to model appropriate behavior and engaging in conversations with children. There was an assortment of age appropriate materials for the children in care. The center was clean and organized. Areas of non-compliance are identified in the Violation Notice.
