During the inspection, the inspector reviewed the areas listed above to include standards found out of compliance during the previous inspection. Unless otherwise noted as a violation within this inspection report, the provider was in compliance with the standards reviewed. An unannounced, on-site monitoring inspection was initiated on 12/17/2024 and the inspection concluded on January 3, 2025. The on-site inspection began at 11:00 a.m. and ended at 12:30 p.m. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas listed above. There were 12 children present, 1 staff, and 2 parent volunteers. The inspector reviewed 5 children?s records and 6 parent volunteer records on-site. This inspection included document review, tour of the facility, interviews, and observations.
Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law, and violations are documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Standard #: 8VAC20-780-510-E Description: Medication shall be given to a child only with written authorization from the parent. One medication for one child did not have written authorization from the parent and physician. Plan of Correction: Center staff will request the authorization from the parent.
