A renewal inspection was conducted on 10/06/2023. There were 2 children present and 1 caregiver. A tour of the home was conducted, in addition to a record review and interviews with staff. The Inspector reviewed the 2 children's records and all household/caregiver records, along with any requested program records submitted by the facility to determine if required documentation was complete. Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance(s) with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Standard #: 8VAC20-800-240-A Description: Based on observation the licensee did not ensure all areas and furnishings of the family day home were maintained in a safe condition.
Evidence:
The glass window above the front door was shattered.Plan of Correction: The licensee did not realize the glass had shattered, however will get it repaired.
