A monitoring inspection was initiated and concluded on 1/3/2024.There were 27 children present with 4 staff supervising and 2 administrators. The children were observed during classroom time engaged in various centers as well as lunch time and nap time. A total of 5 child records and 5 staff records were reviewed. The inspection started at 12 pm and concluded at 3:45 pm.
Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Standard #: 8VAC20-780-160-C Description: Based on record review and staff interview the center did not ensure that staff shall obtain and submit the results of a follow-up Tuberculosis (TB) screening at least every two years.
Evidence: The director confirmed that the TB screening for Staff #1, dated 9/20/2021, was more than two years old.Plan of Correction: The staff member has a TB screening scheduled for 1/12/2024.
