Comments:
A Subsidy Health and Safety inspection was conducted on Monday February 24, 2020 between 8:00 am to 9:20 am to review supplemental health and safety requirements. The licensing inspector observed 38 children being supervised by 3 staff including the site supervisor. During this inspection, the children were observed by the licensing inspector completing a variety of activities to include participating in indoor activities and various centers, engaging with peers and staff, and preparing to transition to class. The licensing inspector also completed observation of parent drop off and sign in during the inspection. The following information was reviewed: emergency supplies, required postings, fire and shelter-in-place drills, injury/accident reports, and children's allergies. Medication is being administered, medications, and written authorizations were reviewed for the center's compliance. There were five children?s records and three of the staff's emergency contacts and required certificates of completion were reviewed during this inspection. A licensing inspection was conducted on the same date as the SHSI supplemental inspection; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. No violations of the supplemental subsidy health and safety requirements were found.
