This inspection was conducted by licensing staff using an alternate remote protocol, necessary due to a state of emergency health pandemic declared by the Governor of Virginia. A renewal inspection was initiated on 3/3/21 and concluded on 3/4/21. The director was contacted by telephone to initiate the inspection. There were 20 children present and 6 staff present. The inspector emailed the director a list of items required to complete the inspection. The Inspector reviewed 3 children?s records and 3 staff records submitted by the facility to ensure documentation was complete. Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance(s) with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the facility. The Licensing Inspector has reviewed with the provider COVID-19 Essential Guidance for Child Care programs.

Standard #: 22VAC40-185-160-C Description: Based on a review of three staff records, it was determined that the facility did not ensure that at least every two years from the date of the first initial screening or testing, staff members shall obtain and submit the results of a follow-up tuberculosis screening.
Evidence:
1. The record for staff #2, contained documentation of TB screening that was dated January 2019.
2. Staff #4 (Program Director), reviewed the record for staff #2 and confirmed that an updated TB screening had not been received.Plan of Correction: The provider responded: Staff #2 will be sent to complete and updated TB screening. We will review all staff records to ensure staff complete an updated Tb screening every two years.
