A complaint was received in the licensing office on March 28, 2023 regarding staff and child ratios. On March 29, 2023, an on-site investigation was conducted. Interviews were conducted and observations were made.

Standard #: 8VAC20-780-350-B-4 Complaint related: Yes Description: Based on staff interviews and a review of attendance records, it was determined that one class of 4 year old's operated beyond the allowable staff:child ratio of 1:10.
Evidence:
On 4/24/2023 the PK2 class operated beyond the allowable ratio of 1 staff:10 children. Between 8:30am and 10:00am, there were 2 staff providing care to 32 children.Plan of Correction: Hired 5 new teachers. Still hiring up to 15 total teachers.
