The inspector met with new human resource staff to review updates and requirements.
- Comments:

A (monitoring inspection was started at 10:30 a.m. and concluded at 12:45 p.m. There were 12 children present with 3 staff supervising. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, physical plant, staffing and supervision, programming, medication, special care and emergencies and nutrition. A total of 5 child records and 5 staff records were reviewed. Children were observed playing outside, inside, having lunch, and getting ready for rest time.
Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Standard #: 8VAC20-770-60-C-2 Description: Based on observation, the center failed to have central registry finding within 30 days of hire.
Evidence:
1. Staff #2 (DOH 5/25/22) and staff #3 (DOH 4/11/22) did have central registry findings within 30 days of hire.Plan of Correction: There has been a change over in human resources staff. The inspector met with new staff and reviewed requirements for all background checks. Central registry checks will be sent within 7 days; the portal may be used.
