The Virginia Department of Education (VDOE) assumed oversight of child care licensing and monitoring on July 1, 2021. All associated regulations and codes have transferred over from the Virginia Department of Social Services.

This inspection was conducted by licensing staff using an alternate remote protocol, including telephone contacts, documents review, interviews and a virtual tour of the program.
A monitoring inspection was conducted on 12/13/2021. TheProvider was contacted by telephone and a virtual inspection was conducted. There were eleven children present with three caregivers for 28 points which is within ratios for supervision. Children were observed singing and practicing for XMAS celebration that is planned for the next day. Reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, physical plant, staffing and supervision, programming, medication, special care and emergencies and nutrition. Two child records and staff trainings were reviewed. Lunch served today was lentil soup with fruit and broccoli. The information gathered during the inspection determined no violations with applicable standards or law. No violations were issued. Feel free to contact me if you need any assistance.
