This inspection was conducted by licensing staff using an alternate remote protocol including telephone contacts, documents review, interviews and a virtual tour of the program.
An unannounced renewal inspection was conducted on February 23, 2022 beginning at 10:45 a.m. by video call. There were 134 children in care ranging in age from 4 months through 6 years of age supervised by 19 staff. Infants were observed sleeping and having play time on the floor. Four additional infants were observed on a walk in a buggy. Older infants were observed being fed and having playtime. Toddlers were observed during music time. Two year olds were observed in the STEM lab. Three year olds were observed in the art studio and during story time. Four year olds were observed during a phonics activity, creative movement and during transition time. Classrooms and supplies and materials were observed.
Nine children's records and six staff records were reviewed. Three medications were reviewed and in compliance.
Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program.
