This inspection was conducted by licensing staff using an alternate remote protocol, necessary due to a state of emergency health pandemic declared by the Governor of Virginia.
A subsidy health and safety inspection was initiated on 12/08/2020 and concluded on 12/08/2020. The director was contacted by telephone to initiate the inspection and by video call to conduct the inspection virtually. There were 49 children present and 10 staff. A licensing inspection was conducted on the same date as the SHSI supplemental inspection. Both inspections combined cover subsidy health and safety regulations. Only subsidy regulations that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection.
The information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with subsidy regulations, and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the facility.
The provider's responses for the 'plan of correction' were not received as of 12/21/2020 and will not appear on this Violation Notice.
