A Subsidy Health and Safety inspection was conducted on 01/09/2023 to review supplemental health and safety requirements. A licensing inspection was conducted on the same date as the SHSI supplemental inspection; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards were reviewed during this supplemental inspection. Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance(s) with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program, and were discussed during the exit interview.

Standard #: 8VAC20-790-600-D-1 Description: Based on record review and interview it was determined all staff did not have current certification in cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) appropriate to the ages of children in care.
Evidence:
1. Staff #3 did not have current CPR certification. The available certification was dated 2/22/20.
2. Staff confirmed that they did not have updated CPR certification.Plan of Correction: Staff will get updated CPR certification.
Standard #: 8VAC20-790-600-D-2 Description: Based on record review and interview it was determined all staff did not have current certification in first aid appropriate to the ages of children in care.
