An unannounced Monitoring inspection was conducted today. A total of 54 children with 10 staff were onsite during the inspection. At the beginning of the inspection, one class was observed outside on the playground. Staff were observed strategically positioned throughout the playground to ensure adequate supervision. Observation of all 5 classrooms along with the STEM classroom and the large gross motor room was made. The infant room was found neat and organized. Staff were observed sitting on the floor actively engaged with the 4 infants that were present. In the Toddler class were divided into two tables, one table were working on a craft project, guided by staff and the other table were working on a table top activity. The Preschool class was working on the theme "wind" with the stem teacher where they took turns using lightweight items such as feathers, coffee filters and balls while the teacher held a blow dryer underneath which allowed the children to experience the effects of wind.
