Comments:
An unannounced renewal study was conducted today. There were 6 children present (14 points) with 1 caregiver at Licensing Inspector (LI) arrival at 3:25 PM. A second caregiver arrived within 5 minutes of LI arrival.
Children were observed playing with a variety of activities during the inspection. Emergency supplies, first aid supplies and emergency evacuation drills are all in compliance.
5 adult and 3 child records were reviewed. See Violation Notice for non-compliances cited.
During the inspection, the provider was not aware of the status of the background documentation, rabies vaccination status for the dogs, and documentation of required training hours. It is the responsibility of the licensed provider to maintain and make accessible to the LI during the inspection, all required documentation required.
LI was present today from 3:25PM - 5:00PM. If you have any questions regarding this inspection, please contact me at (703) 479-4678 or at Sarah.Marbert@doe.virginia.gov.
