An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted on 12/06/2023 from 11:35 a.m. to 1:45 p.m. There were 29 children present, ranging in ages from five months to four years old with 14 staff supervising. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, physical plant, staffing and supervision, programming, medication, special care and emergencies and nutrition. A total of five child records and seven staff records were reviewed.
Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Standard #: 8VAC20-780-520-A Description: Based on observation, the center kept over the counter skin product past the expiration date of the product.
Evidence:
1. In Room #3, there was one diaper cream that was expired.
2. In Room #5, there was two diaper creams that were expired.Plan of Correction: All expired creams have been discarded and replaced.
