An unannounced, on-site renewal/focused inspection was initiated on 11/12/2024 and completed on 11/12/2024. The on-site inspection began at 11:00amand ended at 12:45pm. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas listed above.There were four children present and one caregiver; the point total was twelve. The inspector reviewed four children?s records and three caregiver/household member(s) records on-site. This inspection included document review, tour of the facility, interviews, and observations. Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law, and violations are documented on the violation notice issued to the program.
Please complete the plan of correction (POC) and date to be corrected sections for each violation cited on the violation notice. Specify how the violation will be or has been corrected. Submit your POC within five (5) business days from today, which will be the close of business on 11/20/2024. A POC submitted after this date will not appear on the public website.

Standard #: 8VAC20-800-760-A-1 Description: Emergency supplies shall be in the family day home, accessible
to outdoor play areas, on field trips, in vehicles used for transportation and
wherever children are in care.
The first aid kit in the home was missing tweezers.Plan of Correction: Order more tweezers and make sure a pair of tweezers will be in the first aid kit.
Standard #: 8VAC20-800-90-C Description: Documentation of additional immunizations is required once every six months for children under the age of two years. '
Child #4, 17 months old, last documented immunization was over nine months ago.Plan of Correction: Make sure the corrected forms are updated inside the files within the right time frame.
