Discussed new requirements for staff orientation and tuberculosis screenings.

An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted today from 10:40am-11:40am. There were 62 children directly supervised by 15 staff. The physical plant, 5 staff records, 5 children?s records, medications, evacuation drills, injury reports, emergency supplies, and policies were inspected. Children were observed participating in independent play, story time, transitioning between activities, and eating lunch brought from home. There was an assortment of age appropriate materials for the children in care. The center was clean and organized. No areas of non-compliance were observed during this inspection.
