This inspection was conducted by licensing staff using an alternate remote protocol, including telephone contacts, documents review, interviews and a virtual tour of the program.
A renewal inspection was initiated and concluded on September 10, 2021 The provider was contacted by telephone and a virtual inspection was conducted. There were no children present at the time of inspection. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, physical plant, staffing and supervision, programming, medication, special care and emergencies and nutrition. No children records were reviewed, one provider record and one household member record were reviewed.
Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Standard #: 22VAC40-111-210-A Description: Based on record review and interview, staff did not complete 16 hours of annual training.
Evidence:
1. Staff #1's record did not contain documentation of annual training.
2. Staff #2 stated that 16 hours of annual training was not completed.Plan of Correction: Staff will complete a total of 16 hours of annual training.
Standard #: 22VAC40-80-120-E-2 Description: Based on observation and interview, the provider did not post the findings of the most recent inspection of the facility.
Evidence:
1. The findings of the most recent inspection was not posted in a conspicuous location.
2. Staff #1 stated that the current inspection notice was not posted.Plan of Correction: The provider will post the current inspection notice in a place where parents can see it.
