A subsidy health and safety inspection (SHSI) was conducted in conjunction with the licensing inspection. Subsidy standards that are not covered in licensing standards were reviewed during this SHSI. Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law, and violations are documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Standard #: 8VAC20-790-530-C Description: Daily attendance records of arrival and departure of each child in care as it occurs, must be maintained in a written hard copy record.
In the Beautiful Butterfly classroom the written attendance for the day had not been completed by 12:45 PM. In the Brave Bears classroom the written attendance had not been completed since 10/15/2024 at arrival.Plan of Correction: The teachers in both classrooms were informed to update their attendance log immediately. All staff will be reminded to ensure their written attendance logs are updated as children arrive and depart for the day.
