An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted 11/9/2022 between the hours of 11:40am through 12:35pm. There were a total of 5 children present (14 points) ranging in age from 3 months to 3 years with the Provider. A total of 5 children?s files, the provider's file, and 1 household member?s file were reviewed. The children were engaged in the following: preparing for nap time and napping. A complete inspection of the programming space, children and staff records, emergency drills, menu, attendance, and emergency procedures were completed today. No new staff have been hired since the last inspection. The provider advised there was no medication on site today. There was an abundant supply of age appropriate materials and toys. Areas of non-compliance are identified in the Violation Notice.

Standard #: 8VAC20-800-960-B Description: Based on observation of children, infants who cannot hold their own bottles shall be picked up and held for bottle feeding. Bottles shall not be propped.
Evidence: During the inspection, Child #3, an infant, was observed in an infant swing with a bottle propped using blankets. Child #3 is 3 months and can't hold their own bottlePlan of Correction: Not available online. Contact Inspector for more information.
