A subsidy health and safety (SHSI) inspection was conducted on 4/11/2024. There were 30 children present with 6 staff supervising. A licensing inspection was also conducted on this date. Both inspections combined cover subsidy health and safety regulations. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards were reviewed during this supplemental inspection. Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the Violation Notice issued to the program.

Standard #: 8VAC20-790-600-D-1 Description: Based on record review, all staff who work directly with children did not have, within 90 days of the date of employment, current certification in cardiopulmonary resuscitation appropriate to the ages of the children in care. Evidence: 1 out of the 2 staff records reviewed, did not have proof of CPR/FA certification. Staff A was hired 8/29/2023 and did not have CPR/FA certification within 90 days. Plan of Correction: Staff A will obtain the training certificate for CPR/FA as soon as possible.
