An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted from 12:45 pm - 1:45 pm. There were three children in care being supervised by the provider for a total of 12 points. The children were observed in seated activity equipment. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, physical plant, staffing and supervision, programming, medication, special care and emergencies and nutrition. A total of three child records and one staff records were reviewed.
Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program. Standard #: 8VAC20-770-40-D-5 Description: Based on interviews it was determined that not all household members obtained results of a central registry check within 30 days of turning 14 years old. Evidence: Household member A who has been 14 years old for more than 30 days did not have a central registry check on file. Plan of Correction: The provider will request a central registry check for household member A.
