8VAC20-790 Subsidy Regulations.

A Subsidy Health and Safety inspection was initiated on 9/24/2024 and completed on 9/25/2024 to review supplemental health and safety requirements. There were 24 children present with 3 staff supervising.
A licensing inspection was conducted on the same date as the SHSI supplemental inspection; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection.
Violations were found during the supplemental subsidy health and safety inspection requirements and are identified on the violation notice.

Standard #: 8VAC20-790-600-D-1 Description: All staff who work directly with children shall have within 90 days of the date of employment: Current certification in cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) appropriate to the ages of children in care. The training shall include an in-person competency demonstration.
Staff #3, who has been employed for approximately 108 days, was not CPR certified.Plan of Correction: Staff has been taken off the schedule and signed up for class-won't be put n schedule till completed
