Comments:
A monitoring inspection was initiated on June 18, 2024 from 2:23 pm to 3:07 pm and completed on June 24, 2024.There were 29 children present, ranging in ages from infancy to school age, with 5 staff supervising. There was observation of the children transitioning from napping, completing bathroom breaks, participating in musical chairs activity, dancing to music, and diapering by staff. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, physical plant, staffing and supervision, programming, special care and emergencies and nutrition. The center's larger playground area is currently not in use. A total of 5 child records and 3 staff records were reviewed.

Description: Based on observations, the center did not ensure all hazardous substances were kept in a locked place using a safe locking method that prevents access by children.

Evidence: In the three and four years classroom, the closet was observed with key inside and unlocked. The closet contained multiple painting containers with the labels " keep out of reach of children" and "warning".

In the infant and toddler room, there was hand soap on the sink with the labels "keep out of reach of children" and "caution"
The school age bathroom storage was unlocked and it contained multiple disinfectant cleaners with the labels "keep out of reach of children" and "caution" accessible to children.
