An unannounced, on-site renewal inspection was initiated and completed on August 8, 2024. The on-site inspection began at 9:30 AM and ended at 10:30. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas listed above. There were 4 children present and1 caregiver. The inspector reviewed 4 children?s records, 1 caregiver record, and 1 household member record on-site This inspection included observations, interviews, and document review.
Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law, and violations are documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Standard #: 8VAC20-800-830-A Description: Based on record review and interview, the provider did not ensure that emergency evacuation procedures shall be practiced monthly with all caregivers and children in care during all shifts that children are in care.
Evidence:
1. There was no documentation of an emergency evacuation drill practiced for July 2024. The last documented emergency evacuation drill was dated for 6/13/2024.
2. The provider was aware that an emergency evacuation drill was not conducted for July 2024.Plan of Correction: I will begin to use different routes for fire drills.
