Discussed areas inside and outside to further prep prior to opening. Discussed monitoring water temps for hand washing. Discussed background check procedures and reviewed staff/children file requirements.

Today an announced initial inspection was conducted beginning at 10:00am-12:50pm. The physical plant, staff qualifications, background checks, policies and procedures and the emergency preparedness plan were reviewed. Classrooms site plans were reviewed for space calculations to determine capacity. Rooms are filled with supplies, equipment, and age appropriate activities for children. The center is prepared to begin enrolling children. Though many areas could not be inspected due to no children in care at this time, there are no observed violations at this time.
