Standard #: 8VAC20-780-160-A-2 Description: Based on record review and interview, the center did not ensure that each staff member shall submit documentation of a negative tuberculosis screening and that the documentation shall have been completed within the last 30 calendar days of the date of employment.
Evidence:
1. The record for staff 1 (date of hire: 1/3/22) has a TB screening dated 5/1/21, which is more than 30 days prior to employment.
2. Administrative staff confirmed that the TB screening for staff 1 was not completed within the required timeframe.Plan of Correction: The center responded with the following: Going forward, the center will ensure that TB screening are completed within the required timeframes.
