This inspection was conducted by licensing staff using an alternate remote protocol, necessary due to a state of emergency health pandemic declared by the Governor of Virginia. A monitoring inspection was initiated on November 17, 2020 and concluded on November 18, 2020. There were 46 children present with eight staff. The inspector emailed the director a list of items required to complete the inspection. The inspector reviewed three children's records and three staff records submitted by the facility to ensure documentation was complete. Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliances with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the facility. The Licensing Inspector has reviewed with the provider COVID-19 Essential Guidance for Child Care Programs.

Standard #: 22VAC40-185-60-A Description: Based on record review, in two of three children's records reviewed, the licensee did not ensure that each child's record contained all required information.
Evidence: The Director confirmed that the following information had not been documented in each child's record:
Child #1-place of employment and work phone number for one parent
Child #2-home address, place of employment and work phone number for one parentPlan of Correction: Program Director will have the parents to complete an enrollment agreement and have them to fill out the addresses, places of employment and work phone numbers.
