Comments:

An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted on February 14, 2022 from 11:00 am to 4:30pm and February 15, 2022 from 12:30pm to 2:30pm at the Norfolk location. The licensee reports a total of twenty-five (25) foster children in care at this location. The licensee reports a total of twenty-one (21) active foster homes for this location. There were zero (0) new staff hired since the last inspection. The following is a list of activities for this inspection: 1. Three (3) foster child records reviewed 2. Two (2) complete foster home provider records reviewed 3. One (1) staff record reviewed 4. Inspection of the physical plant completed 5. Updated policy and procedures reviewed Staff were available for the exit interview which commenced at approximately 2:00 p. m. on February 15, 2022 at the Norfolk location. An acknowledgement form was signed and left with the licensee at this time. There were no citations for violation of Standards for Licensed Child-Placing Agencies. The licensee should retain a copy to be posted at the facility. Results of the inspection are subject to public disclosure and will be posted on the Virginia Department of Social Services public web site within five business days.
