This inspection was conducted by licensing staff using an alternate remote protocol necessary due to a state of emergency health pandemic declared by the Governor of Virginia.
An announced monitoring inspection was initiated on 06/18/2020 and concluded on 06/26/2020. The regional director was contacted by telephone to initiate the inspection. The agency reported 46 children in care and 58 approved provider homes. The inspector emailed the regional director a list of items required to complete the inspection. The inspector reviewed 6 provider home records, 5 children's records and 3 staff records.The agency submitted Covid-19 policies and procedures and revised policies and procedures.
An exit interview was conducted by telephone on 06/26/2020 at approximately 3:45 pm with: the assistant director of quality improvement and risk management, regional director,associate director, community based services supervisor and the human resources recruitment and talent manager.
Information gathered during the inspection determined compliance with applicable standards or law, and there were no violations.
