This inspection was conducted by licensing staff using an alternate remote protocol necessary due to a state of emergency health pandemic declared by the Governor of Virginia. An announced monitoring inspection was initiated on 07/10/2020 and concluded on 07/20/2020. The branch director was contacted by telephone to initiate the inspection. The agency reported 7 children in care, and 13 approved provider homes. The inspector emailed the branch director a list of items required to complete the inspection. The inspector reviewed 1 child record,1 birth mother record, 2 adoptive home records and 2 staff records. The agency submitted COVID-19 policies and procedures. An exit interview was conducted by telephone on 07/20/2020 at approximately 3:55 pm with the branch director. The information gathered during the inspection determined no violations with applicable standards or law. No violations were issued.
