Comments:

This inspection was conducted by licensing staff using an alternate remote protocol necessary due to a state of emergency health pandemic declared by the Governor of Virginia. An announced monitoring inspection was initiated on 01/26/2021 and concluded on 02/04/2021. The branch director was contacted by telephone to initiate the inspection. The agency reported 7 children in care, and 21 approved provider homes. The inspector emailed the branch director a list of items required to complete the inspection. The branch director was available throughout the inspection for questions. The inspector reviewed 1 child record, 3 adoptive home records, and 1 staff record. Two staff were interviewed during this inspection. An exit interview was conducted by telephone on 02/04/2021 form approximately 10:35 am to 11:00 am with the branch director, regional director and pregnancy counselor. The information gathered during the inspection determined no violations with applicable standards or law. No violations were issued.
