Comments:

This inspection was conducted by licensing staff using an alternate remote protocol necessary due to a state of emergency health pandemic declared by the Governor of Virginia. A renewal inspection was initiated on 6/15/20 and concluded on 6/24/20. The Executive Director was contacted by telephone to initiate the inspection. There were 24 approved provider homes. The agency reports 1 new staff member since the last inspection. The inspector emailed the Executive Director a list of items required to complete the inspection. The inspector reviewed 3 provider home records, and 3 staff records submitted by the agency to ensure documentation was complete. Also reviewed were the background checks for 7 adoptive home files approved since date of last inspection. Background checks for 4 corporate officers were reviewed in compliance with regulations regarding license renewals. An exit interview was conducted on 6/24/20 with the Executive Director. The information gathered during the inspection determined no violations with applicable standards or law. No violations were issued.
